We just completed our 17th annual Collage luncheon (750 female attendees).  Our guest speaker was Rabbi Gary Neuman, acclaimed psychotherapist and NY Times bestselling author.  He has been a guest on Oprah 11 times, including the final episode with only those truly memorable guests.  She claims that Rabbi Neuman is one of the best psychotherapists in the world!    He was a hit out of the ballpark today!  We have not had a male speaker in several years and were not sure how he would be received.  He made us laugh and made us think… he was truly one of the better speakers we have ever had at Collage.  His books discuss cheating on spouses, however we asked that he not make that a part of his speech.  Instead, we had him talk about the 3 things women want to know about men in their personal and professional lives.  He was a hit!

M. Gary Neuman is a charmer. Peg and I spent two delightful days with this intelligent, witty, down-to-earth man. Gary held 1,000 people, mostly ladies, in the palm of his hand for over an hour, including questions. His insights into a relationship between a husband and wife gave us all a good laugh and also good advice. Gary is a talented speaker and sure to please many audiences. Gary’s exposure on “Oprah” has really given him celebrity status. But this guy next door made our job of chairing the lecture series easy. We highly recommend Gary Neuman as a guest speaker.

Dear Rabbi Neuman,

On behalf of the WIZO membership committee, we wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to you for your inspirational and educational delivery at our Membership drive on January 31st, 2012. Your entertaining performance coupled with your kind demeanor and warm smile was more than we could have ever asked for.  You have a truly magnificent gift for imparting the knowledge and experience that you have acquired over the years.  You inspired and touched the souls of all the ladies that were present. We are very fortunate to have had someone like you for our 2012 Membership drive, and we look forward to a productive relationship in the near future.

Dear Rabbi Neuman,

It was a real pleasure to host you in Baltimore as our featured speaker and teacher in celebration of our agency’s 150th anniversary.

We received rave reviews for your workshop for professionals on “Strengthening Family Relationships!” Your presentation was dynamic, organized, well-paced, varied, and full of practical ideas and insights for therapists who work with families and children. The hands-on activities were fun and also very useful. We were delighted with the attendance and participation.
Thank you again for sharing your wisdom and experience with us. May you go “from strength to strength” and continue to derive fulfillment from your work and share it with others.

I know we are all always looking for speaker for major events..  2 weeks ago in Houston Gary Neuman spoke for 750 women at our annual Collage women’s event.  Gary is a practicing licensed counselor and ordained rabbi, speaks about marriage, family and personal growth..  as a Rabbi he also offers Jewish insights.  Gary has appeared 11 times on the Oprah Winfrey show and other programs.  For our event his topic was “3 things women should know about men”.. and the topic could pertain to spouses, partners, sons, colleagues… basically men in a woman’s life.  Our women loved him, he was insightful, humorous, etc…  and he was terrific to work with.    Would suggest for both a women’s event or general event!

Senior Vice-President of Development

I just wanted to tell you that the women at the Spa for the Soul enjoyed your talk immensely. The women only had positive things to say. Many of them asked if Chabad could bring you back again to speak for couples. You were informative, funny, interesting and practical. I think everyone went home with tips they could truly implement.
Thank you for a wonderful talk!

Thank you for the wonderful presentations you created for the Greater Phoenix community. This was the first time that Jewish Family and Children’s Service presented a continuing education course for therapists and the response… was highly complimentary and enthusiastic! The cliniciams stated that your presentation was entertaining ad full of practical techniques to implement in treatment of their clients.

The evening event… drew a significant and varied crowd of individuals and couples. Again the response was positive and emails following the event stated that the evening was thoroughly enjoyable! I noticed a lot of “nudging” between couples who were laughing as they saw themselves in the subject matter of the lecture.

All attendees left the presentations better informed and optimistic about succeeding in their relationships. The lecture held a tone of hopefulness and a “can do” approach to marriage…
